The JDTECK Dual Band Booster
is designed with SMA female RF connectors
on the unit itself and is supplied with
an SMA male / FME female RF lead, as
illustrated below. A 12v Cigarette Lighter
Power cord is also included with the
Booster at no extra cost. (not shown)
If you are interested in mating the
JDTECK Booster to your existing HFK
(hands free kit) then you will need
to confirm the RF connectors your existing
system is using to determine whether
you need to include RF adapters when
submitting your order to successfully
complete your installation.
From the photos below,
try to figure out what connector your
existing antenna has, to know what adapters
you will need to include in your order.

Installation
Procedures -
A. In Car with Car Antenna (no hands
free kit)
| Procedures:
1. Firstly install
your antenna.(1)
2. Tuck the
cable through to the drivers
seat and connect to the booster
(3) socket marked antenna.
3. Connect the
cellphone (4) to the booster
(3) marked signal adapter.
4. Plug the
power cable into the booster
(3) power input and the other
end (5) into the cigarette
socket of the vehicle.
5. Connect the
cellphone (4) to the booster
(3) marked signal adapter.
The signal will take about
5-10 seconds to be amplified
and will be increased gradually. |

Procedures - B. In Car with Car Antenna
and Hands Free Kit (HFK)

Procedures:
1. Firstly install your antenna
and HFK.
2. Tuck the
antenna cable (2) through
to the drivers seat and connect
to the booster (3) socket
marked antenna.
3. Connect the
HFK cable (1) to the booster
(3) marked signal adapter.
4. Plug the
power cable into the booster
(3) power input and the other
end (5) into the cigarette
socket of the vehicle.
5. Turn on the
switch. The signal will take
about 5-10 seconds to be amplified
and will be increased gradually.

Installation
Procedures - C. Indoor
|
Procedures:
1. Decide on a suitable place
for installing the booster.
It is advisable to have as
close as possible to the mobile
phone.
2. Connect the
antenna (or external antenna)(1)
to the booster (3) connector
marked antenna.
3. Connect the
cellphone (4) to the booster
(3) marked signal adapter.
4. Connect the
optional power transformer
(2) then switch on.
5. The signal
will take about 5-10 seconds
to be amplified and will be
increased gradually. |

It is advisable to have
at least one bar of signal showing on
your cell phone signal strength indicator.
If after turning on the
booster and waiting 5-10 seconds, there
is no power increase shown on the indicator,
check the following;
1. That all connectors
are correct and connected properly.
2. That is a power supply and the green
power light is lit on the booster.
3. If there is no improvement please
contact JDTECK Ltd.
